Mossend International Railfreight Park is partnering with Peel Ports – Clydeport, Glasgow Airport and Glasgow City Region councils to bid for Green Freeport status as a united Clyde Green Freeport. Organisations within the Green Freeport zone can benefit from tax breaks and lower business tariffs, forming part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy 2022.
